Erwati binti Dato' Haji Mohd Tahir
Non-Independent Executive Director, EPE Power Corporation Berhad

Erwati has more than 15 years experience in Management and Construction industry. Coming from an engineering background has advantageous to her as she has the skills and to analyze problem analytically and apply technical skills in solving issue at hand.

Erwati graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Mannheim University of Applied Science, Germany in the year 2006. She has completed Masters in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Data Processing from Teknologi Mara University, Malaysia in the year 2009 and she published a paper title Application of Impedance Tomography (EIT) in Bio-Medical and Industrial Application in 2009 prior to her Master degree completion.

She joined EPE Power Corporation Berhad as a Director from January 2012 and promoted to Executive Director post in 2020.

She is currently a Board Member of the subsidiary companies of EPE Power Corporation Berhad and various other Private Limited Companies.

Yet, EPE sailed through these challenges with agility and strength. We made strategic decisions that kept our operation stable, protected workforce, and ensured uninterrupted service to our customer. Through prudential financial management, digital transformation and sharp focus on operational efficiency, we not only survived – we grew.

This period reinforced our values: adaptability, forward thinking leadership, and putting people first. Our commitment to sustainable development ensures that our growth is not just measureable – it’s meaningful. Our dedicated team remains the backbone of our success.
